Assessing Department
The Assessor has prepared an Informational Presentation (PDF) explaining Proposal A, assessed values, taxable values, and the Board of Review. Detailed property tax and assessment information is also available online at no cost through the City's Tax Online Search and Payment Service.
Credit card payments are subject to a 3% processing fee (or $2.00 minimum), e-checks are subject to a flat fee of $3.00.
- Summer Taxes are mailed August 1st with a due date of October 1st.
- Winter Taxes are mailed December 1st with a due date of February 14th.
- On March 1st of every year, prior year taxes are transferred to Eaton County.
