Winter Weather & Snow Removal

The City’s goal is to provide for safe and timely snow removal. The City, depending on winter storm conditions, typically will have all streets cleared 24 hours after the snowfall stops. On average Grand Ledge receives 52 inches of snow each year which can be affected by windy conditions. The Grand Ledge Department of Public Service clears the snow off City streets in an effort to provide safe travel for motorists and pedestrians.

From December 1 - March 31, overnight, on-street parking is permitted on odd and even sides of the street, corresponding with the day of the month. Learn more here.
