Prescription Drug Collection Sites at GLPD and in Eaton County

Prescription Drugs Collection Box

GLPD has a Prescription Drug Collection Box located in the lobby of the Police Department, 310 Greenwood Street, accessible during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Examples of items that can be placed in the Drug Collection Box:

  • Over-the-counter medication
  • Pet medication
  • Prescription samples
  • Unwanted or expired prescription drugs
  • Vitamins and supplements

*Please note that the Police Department no longer accepts sharps.* For locations within Eaton County to safely dispose of sharps and other drug collection sites throughout the county, please click here.
