What is happening and where?

The sanitary sewer run on River Street has reached the end of it's useful life. Contractors will be reconstructing and relocating the sewer line. This is happening on W. River Street (between S. Bridge and just past Harrison).

When is it happening?

Work is anticipated to occur between April 1 - May 1, 2024. This schedule is tentative and weather dependent.

What is the impact on residents?

There is no direct impact on residents and the work should be minimal in traffic interruptions. Crews will post any street closures and detours. Please use extreme caution in the area!

April 25, 2024 - The Island parking lot will tentatively be accessible as the weekend nears. Visitors can come down Harrison Street, directly into the parking lot. River St between Bridge and Harrison will remain closed.
