The City of Grand Ledge first codified its ordinances in 2002, creating the Grand Ledge City Code. This project enables City staff and the public to more easily research the City's laws, regulations, and the City Charter. In June, 2010, the City Code was updated to include all ordinances adopted since the original codification project.
The City Code contains all the City's ordinances, regulating everything from garage sales and public nuisances to fire protection. The City Code also includes the City Charter and the Zoning Ordinance.
