On Monday, October 7, 2024, milling on W. River Street (Harrison-W. Jefferson) is tentatively scheduled to begin. The existing pavement will be milled to a depth of 1 ½”. Residents within the project area will experience temporary driveway access interruptions once the milling begins. If you live in the noted sections (highlighted area on the map) please avoid using your driveway or parking on the street during this time. Once milling is complete, all driveways and the street will be accessible until paving begins.

During the milling process, residents will still have access to their driveways, except for short periods of time (approximately 15-30 minutes) when milling occurs near the end of a driveway.

When is paving scheduled? Milling is expected to take approximately two days. Paving is scheduled to occur in the first week of November 2024. Due to the installation of a sanitary sewer main, paving will not immediately follow milling. You will be notified when paving is scheduled.
