[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC NOTICE: June 21st Yankee Doddle Days Street Closures

PUBLIC NOTICE: Two Road Closures During Yankee Doodle Day, Saturday, June 21, 2025.

1st CLOSURE: From 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM on 6/21/25, the Yankee Doodle Day parade route from the Sawdon Admin Building on Jenne Street to the @Grand Ledge Area Fire Dept. on N Bridge and Clinton Streets will be CLOSED to all vehicle traffic. Please bring your friends and family to enjoy this patriotic parade!

2nd CLOSURE: Around 10:00 PM (dusk) to approximately 11:00 PM on 6/21/25, the Yankee Doodle Day fireworks show will close the bridge on Bridge Street to all vehicle traffic. Please bring your friends, family, and some lawn chairs to enjoy the fireworks show. There are many places around downtown to watch the show, including on the bridge.

Please use extra caution when traveling through downtown Grand Ledge and expect extra pedestrian and vehicle traffic for this fantastic event!
