[ARCHIVED] PUBLIC HEARING: Ordinance amending City Code Chapter 22



The Grand Ledge City Council will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. on 24 October 2022, to consider and receive public input on a proposed ordinance to amend Part II Code of Ordinances, Chapter 22 Offenses and Miscellaneous Provisions, to add vicious dogs prohibited, to amend littering, disorderly conduct; to add assault and assault and battery prohibited, trespass, retail fraud, buying, receiving or concealing stolen property, obstruction of officers, employees, making false reports to public officials, making false reports to public officials, summoning public services unnecessarily, furnishing false, forged, fictitious or misleading information to peace officer, offenses on school grounds; to amend youth tobacco and vaping; to add marihuana and drug paraphernalia and consumer fireworks; to repeal any ordinances in conflict thereof; and to provide an effective date hereof.  The proposed ordinance is available on the City’s website at
