Today, Saturday, May 24 at 11:00 AM is the annual Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by the American Legion Family Post 48 (Cole Briggs Post). The parade beings on Jackson Street to E. Jefferson, then north on Bridge Street to Oakwood Cemetery.
Join your friends and neighbors along the parade route, then walk to Oakwood Cemetery for a final ceremony honoring fallen veterans.
Please note: N. Bridge and S. Bridge will be CLOSED to vehicle traffic during the parade between E. Jefferson and Halbert Streets. Vehicles and pedestrians are encouraged to use extra caution when traveling through town before, during, and after the parade.
