As of, June 21, 2023, The Grand Ledge Area Fire Dept. will not issue burn permits to City of Grand Ledge residents due to extremely dry weather conditions. Weather conditions change daily. Please call the Fire Department at 517-627-1157 for updates on the burn ban. Residents must call the Fire Department prior to ANY recreational fire to initiate a required burn permit.
