"Tangled" by Steve Scarborough

Tangled is a combination of photography and digital painting on aluminum composite. The tree in the photograph is located on the northwest corner of Spring Street and Walnut Street in Grand Ledge. The woman hidden in the photographed tree reminds us that we are all embedded in nature, but from time to time it becomes easy to forget that relationship. The art piece was generously donated by Steve Scarborough (a Grand Ledge native) and was entered in Grand Rapids' 2017 ArtPrize contest. The art piece is located on the side of the Ledges Playhouse in Fitzgerald Park.
