Interim Assessor & Assessing Services - Part-Time - OPEN UNTIL 5:00 PM, September 15, 2017

The City of Grand Ledge is seeking a qualified professional Michigan Advanced Assessing Officer (MAAO) Level 2, Assessor to provide interim, part-time assessment services effective immediately. The Interim Assessor will be responsible for performance of all the duties and have all the powers required of and possessed by assessing officers by law in accordance with the State of Michigan. Graduate Internship - City Hall - Limited Term - OPEN UNTIL FILLED

Under direct supervision of the City Administrator, and with direction from the Assistant City Administrator, City Treasurer / Finance Director, City Clerk, Deputy Treasurer, Public Service Director, Police Chief, Zoning Administrator, Building Official, and the Planning and Communications Coordinator, provides administrative and clerical support. Typical assignments/projects will involve assisting with developing and analyzing budgets, performing policy and program analysis, researching best practices and innovative programs, developing recommendations for consideration by senior management, assisting with public outreach and education initiatives, and participating in and/or leading a variety of special projects concerning organization-wide initiatives.For a copy of the required employment application, click here.

Seasonal Laborer - OPEN UNTIL FILLED

This is a seasonal position (Spring, Summer, and Fall) with the City of Grand Ledge, under the supervision of the assigned supervisor. This position performs daily maintenance of City grounds, buildings, paints, and cleans as necessary. Operates and maintains vehicles and equipment.
